Prado Community Center
Educational Support for the Children of Prado
The Prado Community Center offers a safe and fun environment for kids in the community before and after school. Kids are given opportunities to learn more about art and music, study English, get help with their academics, and create lasting friendships. We encourage them to make school a priority, and to dream about a better future.
Graduation
We’re proud that the group of kids that started in this Community Center years ago are now grown up and graduating from high school. We are excited to be offering college scholarships for kids, so that they can continue to make their dreams a reality.
Will you help us?
We’re looking for a sponsor for each child in the Community Center program! For only $25 a month, you can provide a child with daily support. Your monthly gift will provide food, after-school instruction from a certified teacher, access to additional classes such as art and technology, and all-day care when students are on scheduled breaks from school. You’ll receive a picture of your sponsored child, along with 4-6 letters throughout the year. Your monthly gift will have a big impact on these children, their families, and the community. Your support is a way to show them that you believe in them and in the power of education. We hope you’ll join us!
