Learn About Zapatitos
What does “Zapatitos” mean? It means “little shoes” in Spanish. We are raising funds to buy new shoes for kids in Colombia who need them. Our mission is to help as many kids as possible get strong, new shoes to protect their feet!
What is the goal? The goal is to raise funds in whatever way works best for you — sell candy bars, ask for donations, collect pop cans, whatever you’d like! Every $25 buys a new pair of shoes for a kid! You can work to raise funds for as many shoes as you’d like to give.
What’s the timeline? This project runs throughout the summer, for the months of June, July, and August.
How does Project Hope help? We’ll provide you with informational cards to hand out, as well as an online donation page you can refer people to.
How do I sign up? You can sign up either as an individual or as a team with your friends, family, Sunday School class, etc. All participants who sign up will receive the informational cards to get started, and will receive a rubber “Zapatitos” bracelet as a thank you for participating.
